June 3, 2026Built to Compete: How AOC Modernized QSPAC's Warehouse Operation
By Alpha & Omega Computer
Case study: How AOC built a custom warehouse management system (OPMS) for QSPAC Industries — replacing paper-based production tracking with modern, scalable software integrated with barcode scanning, order management, and custom reporting.
Since 1987, AOC has helped corporations adapt and integrate the most up-to-date systems — keeping them sustainable and a step ahead of their competitors. Here is a closer look at the work behind one of our longest-standing partnerships, QSPAC Industries: a successful warehouse and distribution operation we've worked alongside to modernize its technology as the business grows.
The Opportunity
Growth that outpaced the paperwork
For years, QSPAC logged every production detail by hand — materials used, length, width, right down to the batch ID — and for years, that process did the job. As the operation grew, so did the volume of records that came with it.
Each production run added to a steadily expanding archive of paper. Tracing a single customer's order back through it took more time than a fast-moving operation could spare — not for any lack of diligence, but simply because the volume had grown beyond what a manual system was designed to handle.
To support their next stage of growth, QSPAC wanted their production data in a system that could move as quickly as they do — and scale right alongside them.
What We Built
Modern technology, built around their floor
AOC built QSPAC a custom system on current, up-to-date technology — engineered not just for how they work today, but to plug into the wider industry's systems as those systems modernize. The foundation is live now; the next integration is already designed and ready.
OPMS — Custom Software Live
The Overlamination Production Management System — modern, per-roll data capture and tooling built around QSPAC's workflow, bringing their production records into one searchable, digital system.
Custom Reporting
Tailored reports surface the operational data QSPAC needs for sharper analysis — and for internal accounting.
Order Tracking
Order status is trackable within OPMS, benefitting both customers and internal teams.
ERP Integration Ready to scale
OPMS is built on a modern REST architecture and engineered to integrate with LabelTraxx, the packaging-industry ERP. As LabelTraxx modernizes from its current SOAP API, the connection is staged and ready to go live.
How It Came Together
From paper records to a platform for growth
Understand the operation
We started on QSPAC's floor — learning how they work and where a growing record volume needed a modern home.
Modernize the core
We built OPMS on current technology: digital per-roll capture, reporting, and order tracking — designed to scale.
Build ahead of the standard
OPMS is engineered to integrate with industry ERP systems and ready to scale as those platforms move to modern APIs.
The Difference
Modernized now, ready to scale next
With OPMS in place, production records that once lived across a growing paper archive are now searchable, reportable, and instantly traceable in one system. QSPAC's operation runs on modern technology today — and is built to scale further as the wider industry's systems modernize alongside it.
Ahead of the curve
QSPAC's system is built on modern REST technology — the current standard. The industry ERP it will draw on, LabelTraxx, is still on an older SOAP API. Rather than build to that legacy standard, AOC built QSPAC's system to where the industry is heading. The integration is designed and ready on our side, so the moment LabelTraxx modernizes, QSPAC gains it without rework — positioned to scale ahead of the curve.
The QSPAC partnership reflects how AOC approaches every engagement: understand the business first, build on modern technology that serves the operation today, and engineer it to scale as the wider industry is ready — so our clients are positioned to lead the curve, not chase it.
